Special Education FormMatrix is an easy to use, cost effective special education software program that greatly automates creating IEPs and related special education forms.
Special Education FormMatrix (Arizona edition) is an advanced software system developed
by a school psychologist for IEP development and special education case
management. With this system, special education teachers, related service
providers, counselors, evaluators, and administrators can efficiently create,
edit, print, import, export, and store IEPs and related
special education
reports and forms. The program is IDEA 2004 compliant and is aligned with
current Arizona academic standards.
The traditional use of paper forms for developing IEPs is inefficient and cumbersome. Teachers and other service providers spend an excessive amount of time preparing their paperwork by filling in each form by hand, which often results in errors and omissions. A computer system is needed to reduce errors, the time needed for paperwork, and state department monitoring violations.
Special Education FormMatrix is user-friendly and requires no computer programming skills. All program functions are accessible with easy to use buttons and menus. The program requires no additional software, and training needs are minimal. The program will significantly reduce the time needed to prepare IEPs and other paperwork so teachers can focus more on teaching.
Much of the information staff need to provide in the program's forms is available through pop-up menus and check boxes with predefined values, which helps ensure that all required information is included. The program includes a full range of special education forms for referrals, evaluations, notices, IEPs, progress reports, and more.
Special Education FormMatrix clients include three Arizona school districts, a private special education school, and several charter schools. References are available upon request.
